An Assistant Chalet Host
You will be bright, dynamic, eager, keen-to-ski, presentable, capable, completely trustworthy, and generally fun to be around.
What the job entails
You will be working alongside the chalet owners to provide guests with an exceptional holiday experience.
This involves being chiefly responsible for breakfast on five days per day, daily housekeeping tasks (such as clearing away breakfast, cleaning the rooms and communal areas daily, setting afternoon tea), helping the chalet owners in the evenings with food preparation, service and clearing away, as well as the full changeover cleaning on the Sunday. You will also be responsible for driving the guests to a restaurant on one night per week.
As the job requires a great deal of guest interaction, you must be comfortable being able to converse with anybody; whether cleaner or high-flying chief executive officer!
Job Requirements
You must be available to work from early December 2011 through to end April 2012, and have a valid EU passport or French / EU working visa.
You must be a non smoker, and physically fit with no recent major illnesses.
We are looking for an intelligent individual with an enthusiastic, positive personality, with a good sense of humour (you'll probably need it working with us!) who takes a pride in providing excellent customer service. i.e. someone who thinks that, no matter what mundane aspects the job might have, I am going to do them to the very best of my abilities.
Consequently, you will not be afraid of hard work, and are expected to be friendly, pro-active and willing.

If you are the type of person that thinks like that, we WANT YOU!
You will have a full clean UK driving licence and be a competent driver as you will be required to drive the guests around in snow and icy conditions.
Any French language skills would be an advantage.
Likewise, any experience in the high-end chalet / hotel / hospitality industry would be a definite bonus.
Although we are not actively looking for a chef, if you possess a flair for cooking and presentation, this would be in your favour.
