The Ski Stations
Brévent and La Flégère
These are the only two ski stations in Chamonix currently linked together.
Grands Montets
Made infamous by the ski movie, the Blizzard of Aahs, this ski station is perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers.
The off-piste here is amazing - on a fresh powder day, it gets tracked out almost immediately!
The top lift gives you access to the Glacier d'Argentière for which we recommend you take a guide.
There are :
- 4 black pistes
- 3 red pistes
- 3 blue pistes
- acres of off-piste!

Domaine du Balme
The Domain du Balme - also known as La Tour - has a very similar level to the pistes of Les Houches - though La Tour is more prone to wind being at the end of the valley.
Be careful going off-piste on the backside of the Tête du Balme as this is the most avalanche-prone area in the entire valley.
There are :
- 1 black piste
- 7 red pistes
- 11 blue pistes
