Bookings:
Payment can be made by Mastercard, VISA or Bank Transfer.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost is required to secure your reservation.
The balance becomes payable within 8 weeks of arrival.
Please advise us at
the time of booking of any special requests e.g. dietary
requirements, cots etc.
Prices:
We reserve the right to alter the prices listed at anytime before your booking is accepted.
Once
your booking is accepted, we guarantee that the price will not change unless you amend your booking.
Late Payment: If the total balance is not received within 5 weeks of your holiday,
we reserve the right to charge an additional 10% "late payment" fee on the outstanding balance.
We will contact you when your final balance becomes due 8 weeks before your holiday.
Sole occupancy of the chalet:
Sole occupancy of the chalet is guaranteed with catered groups of eight persons or more, or if you book the chalet self-catered.
If you wish sole occupancy and have less than eight people catered, you may simply pay the price for eight.
Cancellation by the client:
If you cancel
your holiday, notify us immediately in writing, by post or email.
The following cancellation charges
apply:-

Cancellation by us:
In the unlikely
event that we are forced to make any substantial changes to
your holiday or even cancel it, we will offer you a full
refund. We do, however, reserve the right to make these
changes if appropriate. If you do accept a refund, we will be
under no further liability.
Insurance:
It is a condition of booking that all
clients have adequate insurance and medical cover. This must
include suitable insurance cover for the sports you will
undertake on your holiday.
Liability:
We also do not accept any responsibility
for personal possessions, personal injury, illness or death
caused by your own actions or omissions, or by any
unforeseeable or unavoidable event.
Damage by and behaviour of clients:
We shall be entitled
to recover from a client the cost of repairs or replacements
of any item damaged or loss caused by the client.
Full
payment for such damage or loss must be made prior to
departing from the chalet.
We reserve the right to apply
such claims via the client's credit card.
We also
reserve the right to terminate, without compensation or
further contractual obligation, a client's holiday if it is
deemed that their behavior is unsociable, abusive or in any
way unacceptable to ourselves or any other guest or in any way
harms the reputation of Maison Jaune with local residents or
suppliers - Without refund.
Complaints
The enjoyment of your holiday is of utmost
importance to us, so we will do our best to resolve
immediately any complaint that is reported to us in the
chalet.
General Information
It is your responsibility to ensure that
you are in possession of a valid passport with all the
necessary visas documents.
Clients must accept
responsibility for the behavior and welfare of any children in
their party.
Please note that for the comfort of our
guests, we operate a 'no-smoking' policy inside the
chalet.
No refunds will be made for meals not taken or
beds not slept in.
All dietary requirements need to be
indicated at time of booking.
Arrivals and Departures
Rooms will be ready by 4pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
If required, your baggage can be stored at the chalet on day of departure.
