Kandahar Chamonix World Championship Ski run
Les Houches hosts the downhill world championships for Chamonix valley. Known as the Kandahar, the professionals ski it in about 1:47! We do it a little more leisurely here in about 5:47! ....and we don't show the hardest sections either! - Sorry, but we were too busy skiing to film! Skiing in Les Houches
Skiing out of the chalet and around Les Houches ski station - showing some of the spectacular scenery that we get to play in for five months per year! This video also shows the old drag lift that was replaced by a new four-man chair two years ago, as well as La Cha - a fun rolling blue run. Perfect for beginners, intermediates and mixed ability groups with its tree-lined pistes, Les Houches is the lesser known gem in the Chamonix valley.

The ice arête down the Aiguille du Midi can be a little daunting, but after that the skiing down the Vallée Blanche is simply superb. Plus, the scenery is amazing and the views spectacular!
