Fancy Skiing New Year 2021/22 in Chamonix?
Relax and celebrate this year, staying catered in our Chamonix ski chalet directly on the ski piste!

New Year's Eve is one of the largest global celebrations around the world. It marks the end of one year - often with the mixed emotions of joy, nostalgia, and reflection. And it heralds the beginning of the year to come, bringing anticipation and excitement!

To celebrate, when you stay catered at Chalet Maison Jaune for New Year's Eve, you'll enjoy a sumptuous seven-course New Year gala dinner, followed by Champagne at midnight!

As an added bonus, if you are British, as France is an hour ahead of the UK, you can even get to enjoy New Year's Eve twice!! Our British guests in previous years have then chosen to watch the celebrations from London, Edinburgh and around the world on the television...

The morning of New Year's Day is quite special. We like to serve Buck's Fizz, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs.  Even after the celebrations of the night before, the ski pistes are all open and the slopes are usually quite quiet as many skiers over-celebrate on New Year Eve.  There is such a special joyful feeling being able to ski on New Year's Day.

After Christmas, chalet Maison Jaune is a very special place to spend New Year week:
- We still have a 6-foot tall real pine Christmas tree, all sparkling with fairy lights, baubles and other decorations...
- The mantlepiece over the open log fire has decorations and candles on it...
- The shutters on the house have lush green and red decorations...
- and, of course, the highlight of New Year is the sumptuous seven-course New Year's dinner and Champagne at midnight.

Enjoy Champagne and canapes before dinner
